The Beginning

Established in 1969 as Specialty Sales & Service, Richard H. Jones, Sr. pioneered the concrete cutting and coring industry in mid-south USA. Reselling and using Christensen Diamond Products, Richard introduced the technology to the construction industry in the south.

After a decade, other entrepreneurs had moved into the region. We became interested in the Texas market and bought A&B Concrete Coring Company. Richard operates Specialty Sales & Service as a viable resale company while his sons, Richard Jr. and Jim, operate A&B Concrete Coring Company as the concrete cutting company.
